Privacy policy.

Effective August 4, 2026. This page explains what information this site collects, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Yossi Chef — Food Design & Styling, based in Los Angeles, California (“we”, “us”). This site exists so caterers, planners, and private clients can see the work and start a conversation about their event.

Information we collect

What you send us. The inquiry form asks for your name, phone number, optional email address, your role, event details (type, date, guest count), how you heard about us, and anything you write in the message field. We also record the page you submitted from and basic campaign tags (for example, whether you arrived from Instagram) so we know which of our work resonates.

Collected automatically. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested — for security and reliability. The site stores a small one-time marker in your browser’s session storage after you submit an inquiry, used only to confirm your submission on the thank-you page. It is not used to track you and disappears when you close the tab.

How we use it

To respond to your inquiry, plan and propose event work, keep ordinary business records, and understand in aggregate how people find us. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Analytics

We use (or may enable) Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure site usage in aggregate — pages visited, general region, and whether an inquiry was completed. Google Analytics sets cookies or similar identifiers. You can learn how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that run the business: our hosting provider (Vercel) serves the site and processes server logs, and Google provides the spreadsheet and email tools where inquiries are delivered and stored. If you contact us through WhatsApp or Instagram, those conversations are also governed by Meta’s own privacy policies. We never sell personal information.

Retention

We keep inquiry records for as long as they are useful for responding to you and for ordinary business record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

California residents have the right to know what personal information we hold, to request a copy, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to never be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make any of these requests, reach out through the inquiry form or email yossichefevent@gmail.com, and we will respond within the time required by law.

This site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals because it does not track visitors across other sites in the first place.

Children

This site is for event professionals and adults planning events; it is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated effective date.
